At Clover Hill, our Art curriculum encourages our children to express themselves without fear of judgement. We place more emphasis on the journey and skills rather than the final product.

Children learn the skills of drawing, painting and sculpture, whilst building on their previous learning. The children are encouraged to be resilient when faced with new challenges.  We explore a wide range of artists, and encourage the children to draw on key vocabulary when describing and comparing different artists and their work.

We teach children to be respectful and constructive when evaluating their artwork and the work of others.
